01 / The bar guide

A place for your
next “let’s go.”

A hotel bar across town. A neighborhood favorite. Somewhere you’ve been meaning to try. Bring your shortlist together, then see what’s on the menu where it’s available.

  • Explore, then save.Find bars by city, browse their drinks and keep the ones you want to visit.
  • Look inside the glass.Ingredients, cocktail families and strength information, with estimates distinguished from confirmed details.
  • Leave room for discovery. The catalog is growing. A bar profile doesn’t always mean a published menu.
Browse the public guide
Bar profiles, drinks and the details behind them.

02 / Your private journal

You remember
how it felt.
Sippy keeps the details.

The first sip. The bartender’s recommendation. That small place you found on the last night of a trip.

Rate a drink, leave yourself a note, and remember who made it. Your sips, saved bars and people become a personal record you can come back to.

A journal, not a public review feed.
Your personal notes don’t become public catalog content.

Example journal with illustrative entries.

03 / The reference library

A little knowledge.
A better next question.

Why are a Negroni and a Boulevardier cousins? What changes when you stir instead of shake? Explore recipes, ingredients and the ideas that connect them.

The reference library is bundled in the app, so it’s there when the signal isn’t.

How do I try Sippy?

Sippy is in beta on iPhone through Apple’s TestFlight. Visit the beta page for access details or to request an invite. You can browse the public bar guide on the web now.

Is the beta free?

Yes. Beta access is complimentary while we develop Sippy and improve the catalog.

Which devices does it work on?

The app is for iPhone with iOS 17 or later. There is no Android app yet. The public bar guide works in your browser.

Is every bar’s menu up to date?

Coverage varies. Some bars have a published menu; others have a profile while we work on their drinks. Menus, hours and availability can change, so check with the bar when it matters. Estimated cocktail builds are not a promise of the bar’s recipe.

Who can see my notes?

Your personal journal is not a public review feed. Your sip notes and people logs stay out of the public catalog. When you choose to send a report, its details go to Sippy’s review team. Our Privacy Notice explains data collection and use.

Can I suggest a bar or a correction?

Yes. Write to team@trysippy.app with the bar’s name, city and what you noticed. Suggestions are reviewed before catalog changes are published.
